Cambridge Association of Architects Summer Social: Punt-n-Picnic

The annual summer social, despite the gloomy clouds, was an amazing success!! Thanks to Sarah Shaw and Ze'ev Feigis and everyone for a great time. In a new twist, we all chose to go down stream towards Grantchester instead of our usual towards Jesus lock. In addition, instead of exiting the punts to picnic on land, we all ate and drank whilst in the punts. This of course may sound unfair to the punters moving us along, but we ensured we passed them food and drink now and again! Some punts took turns punting.....brave souls!
In the cover photo, keen eyes may spot a heron on the door step. We saw him earlier before he took flight in front of us.

The lovely thing about the CAA is that it is such a great group of people. People from different professions (mainly architects of course) but just nice people who enjoy having a laugh, relaxing and socialising in an informal environment and getting to know each other.
Interested and in a related career field? Come join us!! The first Wednesday of every month we meet at The Architect pub on Castle Hill (yes, the irony!). Have a look at the website for all of the upcoming events CAA https://www.cambridgearchitects.org/
